Tammy Jaques, Co-Owner & Yoga Teacher at The Yoga Well

Tammy Jaques

Co-Owner & Yoga Teacher

For Tammy, yoga isn't about looking like a yogi. It's about learning to feel at home in the body you have.

Tammy has been teaching yoga since 2018 and has more than 2,000 hours of teaching experience. She is a Yoga Alliance–registered yoga teacher E-RYT whose classes blend anatomy, mindful movement, and nervous-system awareness with strength-building power flows and a fun, eclectic playlist.

But Tammy didn't come to yoga because she fit the stereotypical image of a yogi. She came to yoga because of what the practice gave her — and she believes there are countless others who might never step onto a mat because they don't feel flexible, fit, or “yoga enough.”

Tammy is passionate about breaking those stereotypes and creating a space where everyone feels welcome to explore what their body can do. Her teaching encourages students to build strength and confidence, connect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and most importantly, discover that yoga really is for every body.

Kelley Marotte, Co-Owner & Yoga Teacher at The Yoga Well

Kelley Marotte

Co-Owner & Yoga Teacher

At the heart of The Yoga Well is Kelley's belief that yoga is a lifelong practice of learning.

Kelley is the co-owner of The Yoga Well and, alongside Tammy, is helping bring this shared vision to life — a space rooted in connection, community, and the belief that there is always more to learn, explore, and experience through the practice of yoga.

Born and raised in DeLand, Kelley's journey into movement began through years of dance, where she developed a deep appreciation for rhythm, body awareness, and the connection between movement and expression. In 2006, while looking for a new way to move her body, she discovered yoga. What began as a physical practice quickly revealed itself to be something much more profound — an opportunity to connect with herself on an energetic, mental, and spiritual level.

In 2018, Kelley completed her training in Dynamic Yoga Barre, followed by her 200-hour teacher training at Kula Yoga Studios in 2019. She is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor.

Kelley approaches teaching as an opportunity to create a truly immersive experience. She thoughtfully weaves together movement, breath, intention, energy, and stillness, while paying attention to the details that shape the atmosphere of a practice — from specially curated music and essential oils to sound and moments of quiet reflection. Her classes invite students to move with awareness, explore both strength and softness, and find a deeper connection to themselves.

She has also developed a special love for teaching kids yoga, creating playful and meaningful experiences that introduce young students to breathwork, balance, grounding, mindfulness, and, most importantly, joy.

Together with Tammy, Kelley hopes to create a community where everyone feels welcome to come as they are, connect with others, and develop a well-rounded practice that honors both the yin and the yang.

Sara Humbert, Yoga Teacher & Registered Dietitian at The Yoga Well

Sara Humbert

Yoga Teacher & Registered Dietitian

Come discover your body's liberations and limitations. Sara's yoga is for everyBODY.

Sara is thrilled to be joining The Yoga Well and supporting Tammy and Kelley as they create a new yoga home for the DeLand community.

Sara earned her E-RYT 200 certification through Discovery Yoga in St. Augustine in 2015 and has been teaching yoga in the DeLand community for 11 years. Her teaching experience spans 26/2, Yin, Vinyasa, and Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga, in both heated and non-heated settings.

As a registered dietitian and yoga teacher, Sara brings a science-informed approach to the mat. She loves helping students understand not only what they're doing in a posture, but why. Her classes focus on building strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, and body awareness — less about forcing the body into a shape and more about developing a strong, capable, resilient body that moves well.

Sara believes yoga should meet you where you are and help you discover what your body is capable of through consistent, mindful practice. As a Central Florida actor, she also brings plenty of personality, humor, and energy to her classes — yoga can be meaningful and fun, with plenty of permission to be human along the way.

Sara and Tammy first met at Sara's Bends and Brews class at Persimmon Hollow Brewery, and their connection quickly grew beyond yoga. In 2018, they co-created Yoga Luna, a donation-based community yoga experience that brought people together to practice, connect, and share in the DeLand community.

Now, after years of growing alongside that community, Sara is excited to be part of this next chapter.
