Good to know
Frequently asked
- Where is The Yoga Well located?
- The Yoga Well is located inside Clean Goods Co. in DeLand, Florida. Our yoga space is tucked into the back of the shop, creating a cozy, intimate space to move, breathe, slow down, and reconnect.
- Do I need to have yoga experience?
- Not at all. Our classes welcome all experience levels. Whether you're brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, you're encouraged to meet yourself where you are and make the practice your own.
- What should I bring to class?
- Bring your yoga mat, water, and anything else that helps you feel comfortable. We provide props such as blocks, bolsters, straps, and blankets for your practice.
- What should I wear?
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. For heated classes, lightweight and breathable clothing is recommended.
- How early should I arrive?
- For your first class, we recommend arriving about 10–15 minutes early so you have time to check in, get settled, and become familiar with the space.
- What if I'm running late?
- Classes start promptly at their scheduled time. We ask that you arrive on time so you can settle in and begin with the group. If you arrive late, please enter quietly and be mindful of the class already in progress.
- Are your classes heated?
- Some are! We offer both heated and non-heated classes. Each class description and schedule will indicate whether the room is heated.
- How hot are the heated classes?
- Our heated classes use warmth intentionally to support movement and create a different experience than our non-heated classes. The temperature may vary depending on the class style.
- I'm not very flexible. Can I still do yoga?
- Absolutely. You do not need to be flexible to practice yoga. Yoga is not about making your body fit a pose — it's about learning to listen to and work with your body.
- What if I have an injury or physical limitation?
- Please let your instructor know before class about anything that may affect your practice. Your instructor can offer modifications, but yoga classes are not a substitute for medical care. Always practice within your own abilities.
- Can I leave during class?
- We encourage you to stay for the entire practice, especially Savasana — the final resting pose and one of the most important parts of your practice. If you must leave early, please let your instructor know before class begins and plan to exit prior to Savasana so the final resting portion of class can remain quiet and uninterrupted for those who stay.
- Do I need to register ahead of time?
- Yes! We ask that you sign up for class in Mindbody before arriving whenever possible. This helps us know who is coming and makes check-in quick and smooth for everyone. Walk-ins may be welcome when space is available, but registering ahead is always appreciated.
- What happens if I need to cancel?
- Please check our current cancellation policy when booking your class. Policies may vary for memberships, workshops, and specialty events.
- Do you offer memberships?
- Yes! The Yoga Well offers membership options designed to make regular practice accessible and encourage consistency. Check our pricing page for current options and terms.
- Do you offer workshops and special events?
- Yes. In addition to our regular class schedule, we offer workshops, specialty classes, yoga philosophy, meditation, sound experiences, and other opportunities to explore different aspects of yoga and wellness.
- Do you offer private yoga?
- Private sessions may be available depending on instructor availability. Private yoga can be tailored to your individual goals, experience, and needs.
- What if I'm pregnant?
- Please let your instructor know before class if you are pregnant. This allows your instructor to offer appropriate modifications and help you practice safely and comfortably.
- Is The Yoga Well only for experienced yogis?
- Nope. The Yoga Well is for everybody. We believe yoga should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are — not a place where you have to look a certain way, move a certain way, or already know what you're doing.
- What makes The Yoga Well different?
- The Yoga Well was created to be more than a place to take a yoga class. Maybe you need movement and strength. Maybe you need to slow down, stretch, breathe, meditate, or simply be still. Our offerings range from dynamic movement to Yin, meditation, breathwork, and deep relaxation, so you can choose what your body and mind are asking for that day.
- What should I expect when I come to The Yoga Well?
- Come as you are, and leave a little more connected to yourself. Whether you're here to move, stretch, rest, breathe, build strength, meditate, or simply have a moment to yourself, there's a place for you at The Yoga Well.
